Motoman MH5LS II

The MH5LS II is a compact, six-axis robot that has high axial speeds and can handle up to a 5 kg payload and work a ride range of tasks from small parts assembly, machine tending, to arc welding. It has an extended lower and upper arm bringing a horizontal reach of 895 mm and a vertical reach of 1,560 mm. The shortened distances between the B-axis and T-axis helps to enhance the carrying capacity with high moments of inertia. The MH5LS II can save very valuable floor space as it is lightweight and compact making it ideal for tabletop, ceiling, or wall mounts. Additionally, it has a slim upper arm on which valve packs and other auxiliary equipment can still be mounted and internally routed airlines and electrical wires, all of which help to decrease potential interferences and simplify the design.. Also, some additional options for this robot are anti-corrosive paint, extended length manipulator cables, and/or robot risers and base plates. There are multiple controller options that can be paired with the MH5LS II (DX200, FS100, MLX200) depending on the specific application and plant skill set.
