The reversed lower arm of the Motoman MA1650T allows for a large working envelope while conserving floor space. The through-arm cabling is designed to maximize cable life and improve weld performance. The MA 1650T DX100 Motoman welding robot cycle times are reduced as a result of using high performance Sigma V AC servo motor control and Advanced Robot Motion (ARM) control.
The MA1650T was designed with arc welding applications in mind. A feeder cable and weldingutilities, such as the gas and air hoses, can be routed through the robot base. A hollow upper arm maintains the optimum bend radius while cable interference is reduced during T-axis rotations. This unique Motoman welder MA1650T DX100 arm design prevents bent, pinched, and stretched cables, minimizes wire feed problems, and optimizes weld performance.
