FANUC S-900i

The FANUC S-900i series is a family of heavy-lifting, high-performance industrial robots; S-900iH, S-900iL, and S-900iW. All of these six-axis, heavy-duty robots are also available by RobotWorx as used models. The used FANUC S-900i series has undergone a complete reconditioning process, bringing it back to new condition. Furthermore, any used 900i robot comes with the RobotWorx Value Package. The new and used FANUC S-900i series robots were developed to tackle hard jobs like material handling, spot welding, and large object handling. They are also ideal for casting operations. These high-speed robots are controlled by FANUC RJ3 controllers, which provide point-to-point positioning and smooth controlled motion. The S-900i can use either the RJ2, RJ3 or R-J3iB controller. New and used FANUC S-900i robots have high-inertia wrists with large allowable moments that make them suitable for heavy-duty work in harsh environments. Their slim J3 outer arms and wrist profiles permit these robots to work in restricted space, and their small footprints and small i-size controllers conserve factory floor space. Many attachment points are provided on their wrists for process-specific tools, and axes J5 and J6 have precision gear drives. All process and application cables are routed through the arm, and there are brakes on all axes. New and used FANUC S-900i robots support standard I/O networks and have standard Ethernet ports. Process-specific software packages are available for various applications. Options include B-size controller cabinets, additional protection for harsh environments, a precision baseplate for quick robot exchanges, and integrated auxiliary axes packages. Overall, the large S-900i RJ3 is flexible enough for smaller environments as it features a small footprint and compact controller. The slender arm of the S-900i reduces interference with parts and other peripherals. Speed and performance of the S-900i are enhanced by reliable FANUC servo drives.
